I’m delighted with this recent project I completed, transforming a worn out bathroom from the 90’s into a modern geometric tiled space.

The client fell in love with the encaustic tiled floor and once this was agreed, curves became the focus of the design as we wanted to maximise the floor space to show off those fabulous tiles. A wall hung vanity unit in American walnut, adds warmth to the scheme and a mirrored cabinet above adds valuable extra storage space. The cabinet from HiB includes LED lights and Bluetooth speakers - great for listening to the radio in the morning shower!

As it was a fairly compact bathroom in a 1930’s house, there was little we could change in terms of layout. However we chose to put in a larger shower enclosure by Merlyn, to create a more luxurious feel and installed a taller towel rail in place of the radiator. This coupled with underfloor heating should keep the bathroom cosy in winter.

Quality trays, towel rails and other chrome accessories should last the lifetime of this bathroom, and finally the whole look was finished with burnt orange towels and geometric roman blinds.
