JMdesign is a small, affordable interior design service based in Bromley, South East London.
I offer a personal local service creating contemporary and relaxed design schemes for simple practical living. My skill is in combining colours and textures in a sophisticated way to emphasise a room’s best features, whilst reflecting a client’s personality.
I will help you avoid making expensive mistakes by carefully planning and visualising a room before any trades people are employed. You will see every element of the room from flooring through to furniture and lighting, and I will show you how these combine through sketches and room plans.
By having the time and industry knowledge I am able to source interesting and distinctive pieces for your home. I particularly enjoy combining the best of the High Street with more unusual elements to make your home individual.
My experience means I will offer distinct design solutions, that you may not have considered, and I am able to design unique joinery pieces made to measure for your home.
I will recommend, and work alongside, excellent trades people and often find clients may actually save money through the discounts I am able to pass on.
Our Services
Whether you are looking for some colour advice for one room, help in locating the perfect sofa, a new kitchen design or a full renovation project I can help. Whatever level of support you require I always offer friendly, affordable advice to transform your house into a home.
Room Consultation
Charged at a reasonable hourly rate, I will advise on specific paints and furniture styles to remodel your room and bring it to life.
Interior Design
Charged at a set fee per room, I will produce a suggested room scheme to include furniture, paints and textiles. Clients will receive a scale room plan, elevations, a furniture book detailing all specifications and appropriate samples
Hourly Consultation
Charged at a reasonable hourly rate I can source specific items for your home or advise on existing plans and furniture layout.
Interior Supply
I will work with trade suppliers to bring the agreed design to reality. I will pass on trade discounts and charge a percentage fee for all items supplied
Project Management
I am happy to work with your existing suppliers or can recommend trusted tradesmen.
Costs
Room Consultation
Charged at £155 per room and includes an hour visit plus summary report for suggested room scheme colours, lighting etc.
Interior Design
Where more detailed advice/sourcing is required. I will provide a detailed quote explaining exactly what I will deliver and any related fees and costs. Starting from £645 per room, depending on the scale of the project
Interior Supply
Charged at a percentage fee for all trade items supplied. Clients will always be given the option to purchase items for themselves if I cannot offer a discounted rate.
Project Management
To be discussed and agreed individually for each project.
